Supportive Apartments (Supported Apartment)

This program was originally developed for individuals with brain injuries, but has been successful with other individuals who may have significant needs, which have not been met in the past by group home programming. A consumer can have high or low program and supervision needs. Services and environment is adjusted to suit the needs of that individual. In many cases a group home setting has proven to be over stimulating for the consumer, this setting offers less stimulation and greater control for the consumer of his agitation, coping mechanisms and added personal direction of services.
